Around the world, extreme pumpkin carving has transformed the traditional jack-o'-lantern into an intricate art form. Each one begins with an original design that is hand-illustrated directly onto the pumpkin. Combining traditional sculptural techniques with carving, the design is then cut and etched at different depths with meticulous detail, creating dimension, textures, and dramatic effects when illuminated from within.
