What is the size and shape of the giant faux pumpkin? Our standard giant pumpkins are shaped as "classic" pumpkins and stand at approximately 5.5 feet tall by 4 feet wide. Because they're hand-carved, exact shape may vary slightly.

What materials are used for a giant faux pumpkin? Each pumpkin is hand-sculpted from construction-grade polystyrene with a durable finish that resists chipping and cracking, is flame retardant and water-resistant -- so your pumpkin can be happy outside in any weather!

How do I install a giant faux pumpkin? It's easy to install. Just place the pumpkin where you want it (even on the ground!) and insert heavy weights inside from the opening the back.

How difficult is it to move a giant faux pumpkin when not in use? It's easy! It's lighter than it looks.

Does the giant faux pumpkin light up? Yes! Each pumpkin has an opening in the back where you can insert an LED light and fog machine for maximum effect. (LED lightbulbs and other special effects must be purchased separately.)

How do I store the Giant Pumpkin? Since it's weather-proof, just throw a tarp over it and leave it outside or inside.

How do I order a giant pumpkin? For giant pumpkins, fill out the order form. We'll confirm ASAP and send an invoice for 50% of the total amount due. The remaining 50% will be due the day before pickup.

What forms of payment do you accept? We accept PayPal, debit or credit card, or cash.

How and when do I get the giant faux pumpkin? Giant pumpkins can be picked up in Mohegan Lake, New York. Delivery can be arranged for an additional $50 fee. We will coordinate you with on timing after your order is placed. (PRE-ORDER AVAILABLE NOW!)
ARTIST-DESIGNED FRESH CARVED PUMPKINS FAQs
What is a "sculpted" pumpkin? These are small pumpkins that have been shaped to form funny and scary faces. They are intended to be displayed, ideally with several together. They do not light up. These pumpkins should last approximately 2 weeks and longer in cooler weather.
Which pumpkins light up? Pumpkins that are listed as Classic-Size light up. We recommend inserting an LED light, not a candle, to avoid having the pumpkin melt. Add one to your order here.
How long with fresh carved pumpkins last? The small pumpkins should last 10 days, and the classic pumpkins should last 7 days. Both may last longer in cooler weather.
What design choices are there for the professional carved pumpkins? We are offering a variety of Halloween "icons" and well-known characters. You can also choose to have us carve your name or business logo.
Where do I pickup the carved pumpkins? Pickup is Cortlandt Farm Market at 267 Crompond Rd, Cortlandt, NY 10567. Choose your preferred date and window of time when you add a product to your cart. Delivery is available for fresh pumpkins with business logos for an additional fee.
What forms of payment do you accept? You can pay via Paypal, which gives you options to pay by credit or debit card.

What are the demonstrations and classes you offer? Our lead professional pumpkin carver is happy to demonstrate and/or teach his technique for carving pumpkins.
How long are the demonstrations? You can book our lead carver for demonstrations in one hour increments.
How long are the classes? Each class is approximiately 2-3 hours because it takes time to carve a pumpkin. Alternatively, we can teach the method and students can go home to finish them up.
